Dear Piping and Drumming Community,

It is with deep regret that we announce that the 2020 CT Piping and Drumming Workshop has been canceled due to COVID-19 concerns. In accordance with state guidelines, our venue has understandably canceled all non-school related gatherings. With many instructors and participants traveling over state and international borders, we are taking everyone's health as our utmost priority. Please note that private lessons with the instructors which were scheduled for Friday, April 17th will be cancelled as well.

Everyone who has already paid will be fully refunded. If you were registered for the workshop, check your email for further instructions. Any questions, don't hesitate to let us know!
We were really looking forward to the workshop, and we are disappointed that we had to make this decision. However, we hope to see you in 2021.

The workshop is hosted by the St. Andrew's Society of Connecticut. THANK YOU to our 2020 sponsors: the Round Hill Highland Games and the Mystic Pipes and Drums. Many thanks to the above organizations for supporting and promoting the Scottish Arts in Connecticut!

Feedback from 2018

"Very well organized - the instructors were very approachable and made you feel at ease - while still teaching."

THANK YOU to our many supporting organizations for their time, effort, and generosity to the 2020 workshop !

Other Topics for Pipers and Drummers:

  • Yoga for Pipers and Drummers - our popular finger yoga session is returning to the 2020 workshop! The focus is on fingers, hands, wrists, arms, and shoulders as we improve strength, dexterity, and posture. Breathing will also be covered for pipers. No previous yoga experience or equipment is necessary.

  • Reflexology for Pipers and Drummers - we are expanding our focus on wellness for pipers and drummers with this session to help with relief of hand, arm, neck, shoulder, and back pain.

*PLEASE NOTE: The 2020 Workshop has been cancelled.*
