Connecticut Piping and Drumming Workshop

Saturday April 17th - Sunday April 18th, 2021

Enders Island, Mystic, CT

August 2020 Update:

Despite this most unusual year with workshops, competitions, and parades being cancelled, the workshop committee is moving forward with plans for an in-person 2021 workshop. We have several exciting new changes this year, including a new venue! The entire workshop weekend will be held on Enders Island, an 11 acre island off the coast of Mason's Island in Mystic, CT. The beautifully maintained grounds and facilities feature a variety of ministries and retreats.

NEW this year, there will be options for on-site lodging at Enders Island. Rooms on the Island are limited, so reserve early! Also new this year, your registration will also include catered meals for the duration of the workshop. More details to come. Registration will be opening in the fall.

While it is difficult to anticipate what the spring will bring, be assured that we are taking everyone's health and safety as our utmost priority as we move ahead with planning. Check back on this website or Facebook page for updates!

THANK YOU to our 2020 sponsors and supporting organizations: the Round Hill Highland Games, St. Andrew's Society of Connecticut, the NH Scot Fund, and the Mystic Pipes and Drums. Many thanks to these organizations for supporting and promoting the Scottish Arts in Connecticut, and for their time, effort, and and generosity to the workshop!

Feedback from PREVIOUS YEARS

"Very well organized - the instructors were very approachable and made you feel at ease - while still teaching."

Mystic is a popular vacation destination in Connecticut known for its dining, shopping, museums, and rich maritime history. Bring the entire family to enjoy all the region has to offer, or come alone to enjoy a piping and drumming retreat.
